| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 29, 2009 22oz bottle pours a dark red/brown with a one finger white head. Aroma is chocolate and coffee, flavor follows suit. This was a pretty good porter but not the best ever. I wouldn’t go out of my way to purchase it but worth trying. scrizzz (1289), kirkland, Washington, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 24, 2009 Courtesy of sebletitje. Pours deep and dark with mocha head. The aroma seems earthy at first then burnt, roasty, a bit of smoke and chocolate. The taste is both good and yum with roast to burnt malts to go along with a layer of earthiness to start. Midway some chocolate surfaces. Toward the finish everything comes together in harmony and leaves a lingering chocolate, a bit of burnt malts and just a hint of smoke into the after taste. Very tasty indeed. gunhaver (1025), Tampa, Florida, USA
