22 oz. bottle - poured a yellow-orange...pilsnery color.
There’s clearly more going on here than in a normal pils. The saaz-hop aftertaste mingles well with (but is distinct from) the tangy/citrus taste up front. I didn’t get any maize/corn notes at all, and a bit more of a balanced/varied palate would really propel this into the top tier of pilsners/alts. As it is, this is a nice, refreshing summer beer.

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Nov 28, 2008 Bronze with fluffy soap bubbly head. Lots of tiny, beaded upward carbonation. Pleasant, refreshing zing of what and citrus hit the nose. Flavor is a crisp wheaty, bitter-sourness with citrus twang. To me this tastes like an interesting summer wheat beer, though I do not believe any wheat or citrus are used in the beer. Light, crisp, zingy. nuplastikk (1193), Madison, Wisconsin, USA

Aroma is malty earth with a strong honey undertone. Appearance is clear yellow with a well maintained white head and great lacing. Flavor is sweet/sour honey forward with moderate earthy bittering. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a moderate carb texture and light starchiness. Overall, a little funky; this is promising with each of its parts but doesn’t go together that well.
