Commercial Description:
Med sine hvide skærme lyser hylden op i midsommerns landskab, mens mosekonen brygger og romantikken blomster. Er det noget mere dansk? Måske en tur langs vore kyster med de tornede havtorn. Netop hyldeblomsten og havtornen er udgangspunktet for denne likør. Øvrige urter og bær kendes kun af havfruerne, Søbogaard og et par stykker til. Søbogaard har gennem tiderne stået på god fod med mange havfruer. Flirten med havfruer bør dog ikke overdrives. Ei heller flirten med denne likør. "Den lille Havfrue" bør kun nydes ved leiligheder du ønsker at mindes med glæde.

Light amber and clear, no head. Aroma of elderberries, and some faint odd notes. Sweet flavor. Syrupy texture.

Bottle. Dark yellow not very nice colour. Moderate vinius flowery aroma. Havtorn very present. Round wellbalanced havtorn flavor. Creamy palate. Very special nice mead.

Bottle [ Courtesy of Papsoe ]. Clear light amber color with virtually none head. Aroma is honey, alcohol, spice flower. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is syrupy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is alcoholic. 100908

Bottle (thanks to Papsoe for this one!). Gold. Honey, lemon, smooth, enjoyable. Slips down and coats well. Nice.

Bottled (thanks Papsoe!). Golden colour, no head. Aroma is seabuckthorn, some honey and also other sweetness. Flavour is the same in a very nice way. A quite nice, balanced and easy-to-drink mead. Tasteful!
