Bottle at chris_o’s "smash kook’s granny tasting". Alround rating: What a nose on this, i had to take a few breaths before i dared take a drink. Very sweet, honey, quite vinous and theres some spice but its a nice smooth drink. Very interesting and id like to have sat and sipped on it all night while rating the other beers.

I feel the need, the need for mead. Lovely sweet nougat and slight hint of green apple on aroma. Very decent raisin. A bit like a good solara sherry. I mean I just really like mead.

a true viking knows when he must deal the final blow. this mead was rated mostly bc it would take me to #12 raters of the year, and i guess if a great divide hercules couldn’t do the trick, a tor’s hammer ought to work. clear amber, no head whatsoever. aroma is boozy, mild dark fruits, honey, acidicy. flavor is honey sweet, black berry, citrussy note, faint spicy. this mead tastes good. yea!. damn.

Bottle, bought @ Grønne Amalie, Kolding.
On the bus to ZBF. Pours golden brown, no head. Aroma has honey and some walnuts. A light spicy touch as well. Fair mouthfeel, not as fat as most other meads in this class. A slight flicker of carbonation as well. Sweet honey flavour with a fine, balanced tartness from black berries. But still rather sugary and sweet.

Hazy orangey, no head. A tad sourish, honey nose, alcohol and glue. Honey, little cloudberry and fruitiness in the flavor, intense sweetness. Sticky sweet palate.

(Bottled). Amber color, no head. Alcohol, rubbery, honey - quite pleasant nose. Sweet, honeyish, a bit of clover, spices, alcohol. Balanced, quite standard strong mead.
