This is the year-round amber on tap at Sockeye. Pours an expected amber color with head that stays until the end and lacing that goes up and down the glass. The aroma is lightly hoppy, I always love the choices of hops they use. Pine and plum flavors, herbal hop finish. A clean malty background with a very balanced body, good local amber.

I liked this one, but it had an aftertaste that kind of disapointed me. Slightly piney, but extremely balanced, with a nice mixture of hops and malt, a hoppy bite in the aftertaste, with the malt shining through immediately afterwards. Truly not bad.

On draft at Bardenay in Eagle. Clear reddish amber pour with a one finger white head. It’s an easy drinking malty amber ale. I liked it.

Cloudy brownish orange pour with a thick, foamy head. Nice lace on this one. Nice aroma of base malts and earthy hops. Flavors are a very good blend of malt and hops. Very smooth.. The beer looks good, it goes down smooth, but it's not terribly complex.

Draft: Pours a very dark amber with reddish tones, large white head, and thick lacing. Nose is faint malt, earthiness, and floral hops. The taste is more of hops than of malt; a little earthiness and some florals. Lingering finish of light bitters. Different from the mainstream ambers I’ve tried recently - in a good way.

On tap at brewpub pours out a hazy amber topped with a light tan head. Pretty cool hop/malt mix. A good tasting amber.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a bright amber color with a large white head. The aroma is a earthy caramel mix, very interesting. The flavor is similarly dominated by a sweet caramel flavor with loads of earthiness. Toasted and sweet flavors. Also, a great mouthfeel.

On Tap at the brewpub Deep redish amber witha small off-white head and nice lacing. Very light, woody malt flavor and I couldn’t detect hardly any hoppiness. A littel bitternes at the end and drinkable I suppose.
