On tap at the brewery. Nice copperish amber pour. No retention. A bit of roast and burnt cocoa blends with mainly malt, malt, malt on the nose. Flavor is pretty much nil of anything...watery and lightly LIGHTLY hopped near the end. Not too impressed with this one, but usually are not with ambers.

Jul 29, 2008 This is a nice sessionable beer. Roasted caramel and a very faint bit of chocolate and a dusting of herbal hoppiness. Very drinkable.

Apr 3, 2008 Draught @ Bardenay - Aroma of toasted malt, flavor was similar, nice toasted grainy and malty flavour, I honestly thought this was at least on par with some of the much more popular ambers out there, I would definitely drink this again...

Mar 28, 2008 On draft at Bardenay in Eagle. Clear reddish amber pour with a one finger white head. It’s an easy drinking malty amber ale. I liked it.

Mar 15, 2008 3/7/08 on draught at the brewpub. Aroma is highly malt dominant, with a strong roast, almost Munich character. Hops are nearly nonexistant. Appearance is clear reddish gold with a medium maintained off white head. Flavor is still malt dominant, but the roast is not as strong and gives more of a sweet/sour presentation accomapanied by low earthy bittering. Mouthfeel is medium/low bodied with a medium carb feel and tangy finish. Overall, this isn’t to style but there’s just not much to complain about; good and easy drinking.
