douglas88 (1557), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Sep 13, 2009 On tap at the brewpub in Boise. Pours a golden color with a large white head. The flavor and nose are dominated by sweet honey and malts. Pretty easygoing and refreshing. Not bad. BuckeyeBoy (1645), Boise, Idaho, USA Feb 1, 2008 On Tap at Sockeye Brewing Boise, ID. Pours out a hazy gold topped with a white head. A nice aroma of light floral hops. A nice light mix of malt and hops pretty good. jake65 (1658), Williston, North Dakota, USA Jan 30, 2008 Draft @ Sockeye: Clear golden yellow pour with a nice white head. Decent lacing. Nose is soft with maltiness and a very faint hops presence. Flavor is sweet with malt, had a hint of corn syrup, and into some light hop bitters. A bit suprised to see this offered in January... IndianaRed (1553), Boise, Idaho, USA Sep 11, 2006 On Tap at the brewpub. Pale slightly hazy yellow with a nice thick white head. Light grain aroma with nary a hop note. Flavoe was again light, soft and pale. Some paper notes that made it seema bit stale. Very lightly hopped. Feel was thin and fairly fizzy. Refreshing cold beer on a hot day, which I suppose is its purpose. BückDich (4793), McCall, Idaho, USA Aug 4, 2006 Tap at Brewpub: Golden color with light white head and decent lacing. The nose has plenty of pale malt and light hops in it (for a blonde ale). The flavor has a decent body, a bit husky, but some obligatory pale malt and a snatch of bitterness. Better than some of the blondes out there because it has something, but not much of it. Much better than their last blonde. pinkzambia (986), Boise, Idaho, USA Jul 15, 2006 On Tap at brewpub: Clear light gold color with a small white head. Not much of an aroma, but drinking it is smooth sailing. It has a light wheat flavor and isn’t as astringent as some blondes. It has a thin finish and is quite refreshing after throwing down the Sockeye Poblano burger. Great summer brew.
