Commercial Description:
It's medium bodied and so easy to drink! This bright red ale is blended to allow a noticeable hop presence up front which finishes softly with a slight roasted flavor.

Draft: Pours a reddish copper color with a lasting head and good lacing. Nose of citrus and piney hops, some malt. The taste is more citrus hop dominated, but a nice malt balance too. Some caramel notes. A piney hop bitterness in the trailer.

On Tap at the brewpub. Nice very hazy red, amber with a very large persistant creamy light tan head. Aroma is medium malts with a quite bitter woody bite to it. Tastes quite bitter but lacking many of he nice citrusy flavors that come w/ that hop bitterness. Very rich a full bodied. Creamy and softly carbonated. Long lasting sharply bitter aftertaste.

On Tap at brewpub: Cloudy amber with a small off-white head and spotty lacing. The aroma is perfumy hops and later scents of spruce and junipers. The taste is rich - full of hops with a musty, woody aftertaste. I thought it was fairly full-bodied and creamy. It leaves a nice bitter film in your mouth.

Very rich reddish/brown color. Small head but good lacing on the glass. It has a good hop and citrus flavor but with a not-so-good after taste. It makes you wanting something else afterward to drown out the taste.

Deep dark ruby mahogany color. Nice average sized head with thick sheets of lacing. Aroma is spicy with caramel and hops. Hops have notes of citrus, pine AND grapefruit, very full and rich. Flavor is lightly herbal and spicy. Easy drinking, almost like SNPA but more malty. Palate is dry & bitter with a metallic aftertaste. Overall this is a nice combination of flavors but leaves the body a tad unbalanced. Very drinkable though!
