Commercial Description:
This medal winning India Pale Ale is brewed in the true Northwest fashion. It has an intense hop flavor and aroma with a dry bitter finish. It definitely has enough hops to "send you over the edge."

Very cloudy and medium orange. Mildly carbonated. Wholesome malts - bready, rich cookie dough sweetness. Hops were citrusy and piney with a little orange and grapefruit. Zingy bitterness with some grapefruit in the finish. Dry. Tasty and pleasant.

(RBSG04) Hazy amber body with off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, flora/orange. Taste is medium sweet. Highly unusual in that on the tongue it is strong bitter -- grapefruit, bit of herb; but the finish is fairly mild. Caramel also present. Medium body.

Drank from growler at the RBSG 2004. Golden, hazy. Rather flat and underhopped. Some minor citrus fruits but unremarkable.

Pours a light orange/golden color with a small white head. Strong floral and citrus hop nose. Taste starts faintly sweet and malty but quickly fades to a nice hoppy, bitter end. Very smooth with a dry finish and some good hop tastes left behind.

THis is a big, hoppy citric IPA. Amber color, clear. sampled at RBSG 04. Even though the commercial description says it’s well balanced, I found it to be a one dimensional hop monster.

Golden brown, and a little cloudy on the pour. Generous amount of head. Smells of grapefruit and citrus. Sharp bitterness, just like eating a freshly ripe grapefruit without any sugar. Nice beer.

Cloudy yellow with a large clinging white head. Big hopped nose, with a big bitter grapefruit juice flavor.

Pours a hazy amber, with a nice creamy head and great lacing. Floral and citrus hop aromas almost cover up all the malt. Well balanced flavors of malt and hops, a bit of bread comes out as well. Very delectable. Creamy palate. Damn fine IPA
