Jul 24, 2004 (RBSG04) Hazy amber body with off-white head. Aroma is medium sweet, flora/orange. Taste is medium sweet. Highly unusual in that on the tongue it is strong bitter -- grapefruit, bit of herb; but the finish is fairly mild. Caramel also present. Medium body.

Jun 20, 2007 @Mountain Beerfest-on tap-pours a thin off white head and copper color. Aroma is dry, bitter hops. Taste is dry, bitter hops (simcoe, summit, a little cascade), token medium malt. Did I say dry? OK carbonation.

Jan 21, 2003 Updated: Jan 5, 2004Wow! This is a great IPA. FULL of hops. Aroma is all about hops. Pours a misty orange color with just the right amount of head. Lacing stayed on the glass all the way to the end. I had this from the tap at the brewery and from a growler I took home. Flavor is very well rounded in this beer. Full of hops like an IPA should with a sweet, somewhat fruity finish. Very refreshing on the palate, not too dry, but not too think. One of the best IPAs I've had, and it's at a local brewery!

Aug 5, 2004 Light orange gold color. Medium head. Aroma is grapefruity and floral. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are grapefruity and floral. Nicely balanced. Very smooth taste despite the bitterness. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Jul 18, 2004 Pours a light orange/golden color with a small white head. Strong floral and citrus hop nose. Taste starts faintly sweet and malty but quickly fades to a nice hoppy, bitter end. Very smooth with a dry finish and some good hop tastes left behind.

Jul 25, 2004 Very cloudy and medium orange. Mildly carbonated. Wholesome malts - bready, rich cookie dough sweetness. Hops were citrusy and piney with a little orange and grapefruit. Zingy bitterness with some grapefruit in the finish. Dry. Tasty and pleasant.

Sep 9, 2009 Lots of grapefruit and floral notes on the nose. Very citrusy. Some light sweetness underneath. Golden amber pour, lots of lace and a decent creamy head. Citrus - grapefruit, a good deal of this. Some floral notes. Soft malts add balance, but this is a fantastic hoppy drinkable ipa. I could only imagine if this were right off tap. 1 month old growler, but still awesome.
