Sockeye Dark Star Dunkel

Mild, slightly nutty malt nose; modest body; no Munich charactor that I can tell in the light toasty malt base; some mild bitterness in the finish keepin’ it well balanced; overall, decent session brew, though a bit boring.

Tap: Dark mahogany color, creamy tan head, good lacing. Nose of toasted peanuts and frozen nutella, light banana bread and nutty notes. The flavor has a nice large body, vaguely malty, a bit of bitterness and caramel. The finish is balanced, very upfront for a dunkel. Overall a solid beer.
