BückDich (4777), McCall, Idaho, USA Apr 13, 2009 Tap @ Sockeye: Pours a clear gold color with a light head. The nose is bright, spicy with yeast esters and medicinal cardamom. Nice flavor and slightly balanced with the sweetness and high ABV but the spice really lingers on your palate and you almost wish they weren’t so obtrusive. Fun though, like a novelty candy. Finishes spicy with more yeast, lots of body vs the color. Different and spicy. Maybe good for someone congested. BuckeyeBoy (1635), Boise, Idaho, USA Apr 6, 2009 On Tap at Sockeye Boise. On April Fools Day. Pours out a nice gold topped with a little ring of a head. Aroma was very nice plenty of spice, belg yeast, malts and cardamen. Tast was more of the spice (cardamen, coreander, and clove) along with some citrus notes Orange and a little lemon. Nice and creamy. A little sweet candy on the end. The 9% is well masked by the sweet and spice.
