On tap at Boise Front Door Pours out a light browish red topped with a light sand head. Aroma and tast of corn malt and a touch of fruit. Also a light hop.

Draft: Pours a chestnut brown with reddish notes. Smaller white head and light lacing. Nose is heavy on the malt with earth tones and caramel. The taste is more malt oriented with a toasty feel, earthiness, and nuts. A sweeter maltier feel overall. Not bad.

Not bad at all, Medijm bodied, with a thick malty mouthfeel and roasty, kind of on the sweet side, with some honey roasted nuttiness. This goes well with food, but I could see where it would be hard to drink alone.

On Tap at the BrewPub. Nice deep redish brown with a modest light tan head. Malty, sewwt woody aroma Nice heavy feel, a bit sweet and easy on the hop bitterness. Goes down easy despite its robust body and ABV. Washed down my Chipotle Burger nicely.

Deep mahogany with a thin filmy head and good lacing. Nose is full of caramel and nuts. Very sweet smelling. Light hops and raisins. Flavor is extremely sweet with a touch of roasted malts. Nutty and earthy. Thick bodied with a sickly sweet finish. As the Bückster said, more hops...

Dark maple syrup, light off-white head. Nose of rich malt and earthy hops. The flavor has a massive body with a little sweetness and alcohol presence. Nutty finish with a reinforcement of the large body. Thick drinking (chewy), I could only have a couple of these. Maybe more hops? I don’t know.

Pours a burnt amber with a clear bodied color and nominal creamy head; mild caramelly nose; tart and sweet with a slightly woody nuttiness; fairly malty and slightly spicy flavor, nice balance; intial smoothness gives way to a little astringency over a moderatly chewy palate and a dry finish; might need some more lagering to smooth it out a bit, otherwise it’s good
