BückDich (4785), McCall, Idaho, USA Nov 13, 2003 Light hazy blond color with a creamy bright white head and lacing all the way down the glass. Aroma is very toasty with a light hop touch at the end, small notes of dms are present but this is definitely an all-malt lager. Flavor is initially sweet from the well chosen hops then a balanced maltiness takes over with a biscuit flavor and ends in a water chestnut mouthfeel. It finishes refreshing, not too too watered down but not too heavy. This is one of the best American Standards I've had, I'm sure because it was startling fresh, and in the brewpub, and made without adjuncts.
