Commercial Description:
This medal winning porter pours dark brown with a rich tan head. A medium malt sweetness balances with the hops to produce slightly chocolatey overtones and a smooth finish. "Keeping the wheel rolling."

Dark chocolate brown. Thin layer of head. Smells of chocolate. Tastes as it smells. Little chocolate overtones with a nice roast finish. Very nice beer.

Thick, creamy head; modest chocolote and coffee notes, a tad smokey; a bit thin in the body finishing a little dry. Tasty and well done.

Dark brown with lighter brown edges, a foamy head and good lace. Chocolate and roast malts in the nose, some toffe. Chocolate is more prominent as with the roast in the flavors. A hint of alcohol lingers under the rest of the flavor. Syrup like palate with a very nice chocolate finish.

It has the usual for a porter: Chocolate and coffee flavors; almost black in color; smooth on the palate. This one doesn't offer anything special. It tastes a lot like Black Butte Porter. Good but lacking character..

This is indeed a tasty beverage. A dark creamy apperance, with a slightly off balance head, that would stop and then start growing again. Good feel in the mouth, with flavors of hot chocolate, toffee and coffee, but very subtle, they did a good job with this one, on not making any of the flavors dominate over the others. A good starter porter.

Aroma was of chocolate and coffee with a bit of roasted malt. Appearence was very dark with a good head that went away pretty quick. Tastes like Fuller’s London Porter but with a little more alcohol. Watery, east to drink and doesn’t coat your mouth. Not too subtle, but not to strong, a good difinitive porter.
