Commercial Description:
This foreign style stout has actually been infused with espresso beans, roasted by our favorite locally owned and operated coffee house. It has an intense roast character with a sharp but pleasant full-bodied finish. Special thanks go out to Kevin and Lisa Meyers, the owners of Flying M Coffee House. With out them we probably wouldn't be awake to brew beer at all. "This is a REAL breakfast of champions."

APPEARANCE: Very dark with a thick tight foam that lasted well, leaving good lacing as it dissipated. AROMA: Dark chocolate, and coffee were most prevalent, finishing with spicey hops. FLAVOR: A big mouthfull of dark chocolate-covered coffee beans with a nice dry hop finish. Very nice flavors blended well. PALATE: Creamy, medium-full body lets the flavors linger long on the tongue. OVERALL IMPRESSION: I could get in trouble with this one. I found this to be a smooth drinker.

Very little head on this one on an opaque black body. Coffee is underneath the candied hops. Dry body. Interesting. Hops and coffee blend well in this one.

Pours a dark brown, almost black. The head is big and creamy and there is sheet lacing. The nose is of chocolate, roast, coffee/mocha, and light floral hops. Flavors of roast chocolate and some coffee. The malts were not as strong in the flavor as the aroma. Hops were nice and bitter. Nitro creamy palate, chewy body and a bitter finish of coffee.

Dark black pour, with thick tan head. Smells of chocolate and esspresso. Taste is the same. Good beer.

Pours a jet black color with a small brown head. Aromas of espresso, chocolate, and some hops. Flavor is a nice balance of the chocolate and espresso with a little hop bitterness towards the end.

Very dark brown, almost black pour. Thick to drink with deep coffee flavor, as well as chocolate, roastiness, malts, and hopiness to finish. Similar to thier porter, but more intense coffee flavor.

Mmmmm, this was quite an interesting little stout, first things is the almost perfectly roasted flavors and acidity, great chocolate flavors, some dark candied fruits, and some dry roasted coffee in the finish. Nice

On Tap at the brew pub Very dark black, very small tan head an only a few specs of lacing. This was not the nitro version dark chocolate and deep roasted aromas. Lots of nice very dark roasted flavors and not too much coffe. Feel was a bit thin and overall well balanced. Quite good.
