Clear amber of color with a nice foamy off white head. An aroma of smoke, not sweet or bitter notes. A flavor of smoke, weak sweets and no hops notes. Pretty easy drinking smoked.

It is hazy, dark amber with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of smoke, malt and smoked meat. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of smoke, malt, light fruit, caramel, light wood and the finish is slightly dry. It is a nice smoked beer.

Bottle, bought @ Havnens Vin og Tobak, Vejle.
Pours lightly hazy amber with a small, creamy, off-white head. Some fizziness. Powerful smoky aroma, some sweet vanilla-like oak notes as well. Highish carbonation, fine, elegant mouthfeel. Flavour is very smoky and surprisingly sweet and sugary. The smoke is not that overwhelming, yet it is nearly all over the place. Quite too sweet, though.

Bottle. It pours a slightly dark, golden body with a small, dense, off-white head. Looking quite pretty. The aroma has smoked malt, some banana-like fruityness, caramel and some pale malt. Smoked and oaked flavor with some vanilla indicating the oaking. Malty sweetness too. Medium to full body. Slightly sweet finish with some bitterness. Quite nice, but not outstanding. Pleasant smoke-level. (081110)

Bottle 50cl. @ home.
Unclear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, smoke, peat, gunpowder smoke, chlorine. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20081023]
