0.7 l bottle (7.1 % bryg no. 52 Oktober 2008), thanks Hannu N and Timo A! Dark reddish brown color with creamy head. Sweetish aroma with plenty of anis and licorice. Sweet caramelly, bready and spicy flavor with strong licorice note, ginger, cola and hint of dark chocolate. I’m not a big fan of licorice in beer and this beer certainly has an overload of it for me.

Bottle. [Courtesy of yespr, thanks buddy] Average creamy beige head that mostly lasted. Good display of lacework. Cloudy amber colour. Aroma of yeast, grain, caramel, fruit, mild spice, nutty. Medium bodied with an average carbonation. Moderated bitter and sweet flavour. Roasted malty lingering finish.

Bottle. [thank you, Myrup]
[my 900th Danish rating]
Pours a deep, light muddy brown. A small creamy off white head. Aroma is mildly sweet, light rye bread and a good dosage of spices. Very nice mouthfeel. Flavour is quite dry, lightly vinious, some caramel and sweet chocolate. Lightly roasted and dusty yeast finish.

Hazy dark amber with a small off-white head. Fruity yeast aroma with some spice in the background, I’m getting cinnamon, clove and vanilla. Malty flavour with yeast, spice licorice and a touch of alcohol. Well balanced spice.
