Yeah, malt liquor Mexican style. Sol with a high alcohol flavor that does not stand up well in the light malt.

Other than a non-offensive aroma, this stuff is garbage. A strong malt liquor type of flavor. It’s so bad that I can’t even use it combat the spiciness of the chinquinquillas I’m eating. Ick.

Clear coloured body with a very thin white head. Aroma of metal, strong malt, alcohol and a bit of hops. Light-bodied; Nice malty flavour with cardboard, nuts and a light alcohol kick noticealbe in the taste. Aftertaste is mellow and refined - nice! Overall, one of the best Mexican beers I’ve had - definitely worth trying if you can find it! I sampled this 355 mL bottle purchased from 7-11 in Ciudad de Mexico (Mexico City), Mexico on 04-May-2007.

What’s the deal with this beer?, It is blonde but you can notice some green highlights on it. I don’t know what they meant to do with this beer, but it changes its flavor with every bottle.

Reminded me of a malt liquor, but that was in part to the huge size of the bottle. Couldn’t get through the whole thing. Alcohol was a bit noticable, but not horribly overpowering. Decent as a novelty.

Bottle: Couldn´t really understand the ´brava´ part on this one. Flat, stale and overall poor.

If Sol is bad... this beer is disgusting, it pours a very flat greenish gold. The nose is humid corn husks, old bananas and a bit of fake flowery hops. It leaves a oily palate, a belly full of CO2 and a bad headache. It was not what i expected i thought they were finnaly bring a difrent beer out in Mexico, with the name i thougt maybe a Strong ale... not even close, its a bad light beer.

got this in mexico for 15.5 pesos thats 1.50 US, and it was great. I got 50 ounces and although I tasted the alcohol the beer flavor kicked in nicely. Ok fine, so its not a high quality beer but as far as 40’s go (or 50’s) this one takes the cake.
