What’s the deal with this beer?, It is blonde but you can notice some green highlights on it. I don’t know what they meant to do with this beer, but it changes its flavor with every bottle.

Clear coloured body with a very thin white head. Aroma of metal, strong malt, alcohol and a bit of hops. Light-bodied; Nice malty flavour with cardboard, nuts and a light alcohol kick noticealbe in the taste. Aftertaste is mellow and refined - nice! Overall, one of the best Mexican beers I’ve had - definitely worth trying if you can find it! I sampled this 355 mL bottle purchased from 7-11 in Ciudad de Mexico (Mexico City), Mexico on 04-May-2007.

got this in mexico for 15.5 pesos thats 1.50 US, and it was great. I got 50 ounces and although I tasted the alcohol the beer flavor kicked in nicely. Ok fine, so its not a high quality beer but as far as 40’s go (or 50’s) this one takes the cake.

Yeah, malt liquor Mexican style. Sol with a high alcohol flavor that does not stand up well in the light malt.

Reminded me of a malt liquor, but that was in part to the huge size of the bottle. Couldn’t get through the whole thing. Alcohol was a bit noticable, but not horribly overpowering. Decent as a novelty.
