SudsMcDuff (1691), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA Jul 6, 2009 thanks pops! ..ahh yes, Sol: is this better than the dirty mexican version.. . The position has been filled .. . Pours a medium apple juice gold colour, head is quite impressive .. . harsh stale corn and metal dirt/soil bucket Aromas .. . yikes, like a malt liquor but without the heat, HeyZeus! , do people actually drink this in brazil, this falls short even by Brazilian pale lager standards.. . lacing is pretty damn good though .. . take that hatless! .. . if you can get past the stale corn taste and the horrid aroma, it might just refresh you .. . yes they do yes they do... fidelis83 (707), Clinton, Iowa, USA May 27, 2009 Bottle looks a little different but I am pretty sure this is the right stuff. Pours pale yellow with a thin fizzy white head that actually has decent retention. Aroma is sweet toasted grain, sour grain, corn, strawberry, and milk. Flavor is light citrus, straw, grass, toasted grain and mushy rice cereal. Finish is off mineral, sileage and corn. Palate is very thin slightly undercarbonated for the style and slightly dry al the way through. Typical crappy south of the border pale lager. altacyr (144), Campinas, Brazil Dec 6, 2008 Cerveja aguada, com sabor quase imperceptível. Nada veio a oferecer ao mercado nacional. DarkElf (2681), La Jolla, California, USA Aug 12, 2008 28-Apr-08 (600-ml bottle: Free sample bottle for stewarding the 2008 World Beer Cup in San Diego, CA) With a faint aroma of grass and mustiness, the nose bears little resemblance to that of a true pilsener. It smells sweet, cheesy, cardboardy, and adjuncty with no real malt or hop character. Unfortunately, things take a significant turn for the worse with just one sip. Hint of sweetness but it’s bitter from adjuncts and the extreme cardboard in the finish is simply awful. Light in body, but the stale flavors sit on the palate like a lead weight and the medium carbonation doesn’t help. About the only positive aspect is the appearance, which is perfectly clear and light-golden in color, and is enhanced by a steady supply of rising carbonation bubbles. The white head pours half an inch in height, settling to and holding a thin but complete layer with a wide ring. No lacing though. It may look pretty, but this swill is absolutely undrinkable. And to think this beer was entered into a prestigious competition! jalichio999 (502), Brazil Jul 8, 2007 Updated: Sep 5, 2008Típica "pilsen" das macrocervejarias. Sabor e aroma fracos, faltando uma boa dose de malte e lúpulo. Boa drinkability. Leve. Refrescante. Russo (595), Campinas, Brazil Jun 12, 2007 Updated: Jun 17, 2007Bottle. Clear golden yellow, nice white head but disappear quicly, weak aroma, some barley notes, sounds like a pilsen. Refreshing and this is good to a weather like Rio.,
Cor, espuma e cheiro iguais as demais. Aguada, levemente adocicada (quase imperceptível). Não é ruim, leve e refrescante. Boa para dias de calor - não é para degustação.
