Just took a sip of this from a friend’s beer to get the rating. Let’s just pretend that he didn’t squeeze a lime in it and turn it upside town to distribute the juice through the beer, because that would be an unfair advantage to Sol’s rating. I didn’t detect anything worth writing home about, so I won’t.

In the comp fridge in cancun. When ice cold it is like a nice refreshing glass of water that may eventually give you a buzz. Smells very yeasty and actually doenst taste that bad. but then again its still not a good beer.

Err? On the back of the bottles of Sol I have drank it states it is made in El Salvador. So either the guys who print the bottles are drunk on Sol or someone is being an Ass SOL! Anyway, the beer. Light taste, light carbonation, fairly watery. Not one I would beat my neighbors dog with a stick to get one. No wonder they are psychopaths in El Salvador.

Aroma of grassy hop and pale malt, but very light. Brassy gold color with a white head that left at once. Thin to medium body, with slightly fizzy carbonation. The flavor is so light as to be virtually non-existent. I vote for sweet pale malt. The finish is virtually like having had nothing.

It’s like a cheap substitute for Corona, which is pathetic when you think about it. It tastes like they used water from a wet dish rag. Eww.

Corona wanna be. Not bad with the mandatory lime. Good session beer while your enjoying some enchiladas or tacos at the local Mexican restaurant.

Amazing carbonation! Astonishingly weak taste! Exciting lack of anything memorable!
