Tecate, Dos Equis, Corona, etc. Differences are minimal. Light golden yellow body with a white head. Not much flavor to speak of. Corn malt base. Slight bitterness. Really needs a lime. Drinkable in 90+ weather by a poolside but thats about it. puzzl (2648), New York, New York, USA

Of all the shitty session beers I had this afternoon this was by far the least offensive. Really, it was quite quenching, with no off flavors. Interesting. yespr (12411), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Aroma is corn, hay and straw. Flavour is slight sweet but overall thin. A touch of bitterness in the end. Bland and waterish. 184601 (144), Mexicali, Mexico

| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | May 31, 2007 Had this at a friends barbeque. Out of the bottle some aroma of malt. Flavor is kinda metalic and watery. Had this both with lime and without. Not a great beer by any means but drop a lime in there and this can be a quite refreshing summer beer. joohefner (380), Isla Vista, California, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 31, 2007 This beer screams summer to me. Stick a lime in it, and drink a lot of them. Tastes better than Corona, but I don’t know why, they taste about the same. Maybe I like the paint on the bottle. Wait Corona bottles are painted too! Anyway, they taste good on a hot day. cheapdark (2047), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 22, 2007 Updated: Jan 1, 2008Let’s go to Mexico! 12 oz clear bottle. No skunk in this brew, clean and pleasant aroma, perhaps some corn sweetness. Is the color of any other pale yellow american lager beer. Good carbonation on the first drink. The taste is clean and lacks any offensive personality. Almost as easy as tonic, mineral or soda water. I don’t taste much citrus if any, this is just plain old well behaved lager. Cannot taste any alky in there, way to smooth. Probably would drink this anyday for a session. I like the fact that this does not come across as watered down, tho zesty. Finish is a friendly reminder that beer can have ettiquite. If this didn’t cost more that Schmidt’s I’d probably buy it often. Could be a little boring for impy stout and IPA lovers. Otherwise, very enjoyable!
