I have a special love for Mexico in general, which includes especially its equisite food and light beer, as well as its culture, history, language and movies, to name a few things. Sol is not an exception, especially accompanied with Mexican tasty and spicy food, it’s just about the best there is. :)

These Mexican beers use non-light stable hops and come in these clear bottles, which make hesitant when I pick up a glass of Sol or Corona for that first sip. No head, no lacing. Beer is amber-ish yellow. Taste is slightly sweet and not great but totally inoffensive. For what it’s worth, this stuff is actually pretty drinkable.

Pretty poor fair. A light colour, but strange peppery taste that wasn’t pleasant (still evident with lime). The worst of the mainstream Mexican lagers.

not as good as corona, with or without lime. Avoid it if you can and just get dos equis instead.

(33 cl bottle at Arlanda aiprort, Stockholm) Clear straw yellow color, white head. Sweet malty a bit alcohol scent. Sweet and thin taste, no real character. Thin body. A bit sweet aftertaste.

Clear see through yellow with little quick disappearing white head. Watery palate. Aroma and taste of malts & easy hops. Some citrus appears. Very much like corona.

Small frothy white head. Not much head. Malty flavor. A bit citrusy. Very watery with thin after taste.

Smells grassy, corny, and slightly skunky. Pours a clear pale gold with no head. Tastes like water, maybe a bit of cilantro in it, or maybe I’m imagining things to take my mind off of this crap.
