Taste (what there is of it) is similar, although Sol has a slightly darker colour. Good, bland, beach beer. DarkSong (111), Dacula, Georgia, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jul 22, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours a pale golden color with a tiny head that quickly vanished. It has almost no aroma to it. This beer has very little taste to it but is not at all bad tasting. This is a OK beer in my opinion and is very refreshing. Steely (175), , Sweden
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 21, 2009 Sparkling clear pale golden color with a white watery bathfoam head. Light neutral aroma. Light flavor, maybe some hint of malt and corn in a distance. We are talking soda pop feeling here. CUJO (367), Brooklyn, New York, USA
| 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Jul 18, 2009 Bottle: not the best Mexican beer, but another FEMSA macro standard... mildly colored and flavored... the skunkiness and slight grains are all there is to talk about. | 1.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 5/20 | Jul 10, 2009 Pours clear gold. Aroma of corn and a little skunky. Flavour is very corn with a hint of maltyness. Probably the best mexican beer I have ever had but all in all pretty dulll. If I was in mexico sitting on the beach watchig bikinis this beer would be great. But i’m here in Canada trying to get drunk and its just not doing it. TheHulk (149), Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada
| 0.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Jul 10, 2009 This doesn’t really smell like anything,m maybe a stale smoker who needs to go out and nic up again. There isn’t really too much to taste, just enough grain th ere to get the alcohal going in the brew. It’s only slightly better than water. Proably the best beer to drink when it’s more than 35 degrees out. rosenbergh (963), Helsinki, Finland

Clear golden colour with small white head.
Weak stale malty aroma.
Malty flavour with some corny notes.
Suffers a clear defeat in parallel comparison with Corona.
