I think this is the same "Sol" i had while i was in Mazatlan? Pretty typical mexican lager that is easy drinking but needs a lime certainly. Actually is one of the more high end beers down there, as upposed to Tecate and Pacifico anyway....

Very light yellow coloured brew. A little bit bitterness in the flavor. Reminds me of light whites. It’s flavor is too much nothing, but enjoyble when very hot. Like in Mexico :)

Grainy sweet pale lager, lots of cereal. smells worse than it tastes, drinkable, but only after a few better brews!

Ooooh boy! How many gallons of this did we drink last week? If you take out the key ingredients-- the scorching Mexican sun and a pool full of best friends-- you are left with a watery pale lager with less hop character than even Corona. But with the other ingredients in place, you really don’t give a shit! "I got Sol but I’m not a soldier! I GOT SOL BUT I’M NOT A SOLDIER!!!" Wahoo!

Clear bottle, bright golden hue, with a fade frothy white head, with a toasty pale malt, light sweet toffeeish note, bready dough and a slightly floral hop aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a light caramel malt, buttery note, hay accent, leading towards a somewhat grainy malt fade sweetness and a delicate bittering hops on the finish.

33 cl bottle. No yeast at the bottom. Golden clear colour with a weak head. Light aroma of corn. Flavour of corn too, but also very watery and very dull.
