Bottle. No wonder they usually serve it with a lime. It’s to give it some taste! I guess we could say it’s thirst quenching.

Just a Nice all around fresh Mex. beer. Had Crisp taste with a light golden color. Taste of Corn and Malt.

I have a clone recipe for this beer that is too simple to ignore. Go to McDonalds, get a Sprite with lots of ice. Leave cup at room temperature overnight. Just like that you have a no alcohol clone of Sol.

Pours a very clear, very pale yellow with a head that disappears to nothing in seconds. LOTS of bubbles coming from the bottom. Aroma is corn with just a hint of fruit/hop scent, though it doesn’t smell as bad as it sounds. I have to agree it does look & smell generic. Not a lot of flavor, but what there is is mostly corn and nicely hopped when going down. Almost no bitterness in the aftertaste, except for a slight Frito taste. Very thin with no mouthfeel, but is very thirst quenching and more palatable than water or Corona. Goes down smooth. I imagine that is the idea in Mexico: session beer for the 90 degree weather. Not as much character as Dos Equis, and cheaper in feel to Modello, but much better than Corona.

it looks, tastes and is generic beer. It is certainly not bad as it is most thirst quenching. theres something nice about drinking it in Mexico.

much like corona, good with a lime. very clean tasting leave almost no taste in the mouth. would be good on a hot sunny beach, not so good to enjoy durring a cold Maine winter. I would never buy this, but i have had much worse, better than Corona.
