Overall Impression: I’ve had this one on a deathly hot day in Mexico, and in that situation it worked, otherwise, it has almost 0 in the way of taste, add a lime and save it for days where the mercury is rising...

Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours very clear and light yellow. Metallic and vegitable aroma. Very light taste, but not bad.

Bottle. No taste at all = no bad flavors at all. Drinkable when cold. Refreshing.

At first glance, taking into consideration the visuals Sol possesses, one might assume this is a refreshing, inoffensive pale lager much the same as its compatriot Corona. The color is a light golden, and it pours with a moderate white head, yet as is often the case, these looks are deceiving. The aroma is more telling than the apperance, giving the first impression of an adjective that could describe much else of the beer’s character, rotten, in this case, a rotten malty odor. The flavor begins cleanly enough, being lightly hoppy but never well-balanced, before gradually finishing in the rotten malt flavor the aroma foreshadows. If this makes any sense to anyone, the texture of Sol after the finish is much "stickier" than expected, and the aftertaste lingers as long as you let it.

Looks like piss. The smell consists mostly of a sweet malty aroma. The taste is oddly musty, with some artificial corn in it, luckily i also found some fruity flavors, too. Way too carbonated, and when drank while eating, the alcohol rose up through the flavor too much. Why would somebody buy this stuff?

Bottle 33 cl. Apperance; Light golden, clear with a small but lasting head(for a while). No sparkling. Aroma; light hoppy and malt. Flavor; WOW, water!! Even Bud is better.
