Bottle. Pours clear yellow with a small head. Almost no aroma, just a light grainy hint. The flavor has straw/grain. Almost no bitterness. Really not that bad.

This actually was pretty damn good for washing down the blazing diablo shrimp I had for supper! Not sure if it was good for anything else.

The MGD of Mexico pretty much. Yellowish color, white head. Corny and full of adjunk. Both aroma and flavor are dominated by corn with a little malt and not much else. Was the cheapest thing in Cancun on spring break so I drank it by the gallon.

Bottle 330ml. @ home.
Clear sparling medium yellow color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, sweet corn, toasted notes, light hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20081111]

Swilled a couple of sixers watchin’ the Abudabi Masters (golf). With limes its a refreshing ,if fucking dull beverage . Beers like Sol & Corona are really not too offensive .Sometimes these sub-zero Mexican lagers slide down nicely.

Don´t really know why I´m rating this, but what the heck. I´ve actually added a slice of lime to the beer, just to get something out of it. Quite refreshing with this added citrus flavor. Otherwise quite a lame and watery beer. Does go well with the chicken filled tortillas I just had, though.

Come on. Where’s the love for Sol? My appreciation for watery Mexican beer like Sol is situational. You gotta be at a little palm roof bar on the beach in the tropics, watching the sun set. Then (and only then) a Sol is about the best thing in the world. Very refreshing.
