emotv (196), Izmir, Turkey Mar 27, 2008 Thanks again to my Mother she travel the world and carry lots of good beers, actually i have seen this beer in bottle as export in turkiye so many times but never tried it. They told her this is the best tasting beer in Mexico. Lets see, Hops are gone, Some classical grany taste, no head, typical bad beer. I can not understand why these beers are in the head of foolish people that they can prevent that beer is best of Mexico. Why am i writing here about this beer. Lets say pens are slighter than knifes.
SkyCop32 (139), Morlautern, Germany Oct 29, 2008 I had the bottle version and knew it would not be corona when I opened it, boy was I right! This is grass in some water and sweetener added. Too watery for me. SHIG (1667), Oberoffligen, Germany Oct 24, 2008 Bottle: Poured a golden color with a light white head. Aroma is sweet and grassy. Taste is sweet with grains and light malts. Cybercat (470), Georgia, USA Oct 15, 2008 It comes in a clear bottle, so it is easy to see that this is a typical, not inspiring clear straw yellow. Aroma is so-so; I had a hard time discerning it thanks to the obligatory lime, which masked what little aroma the beer has. Flavor is typical of a lager, rather thin and not memorable. Texture is smooth - the best aspect of this beer. brentfeesh (972), Gadsden, Alabama, USA Oct 15, 2008 12oz can enjoyed while at the resort in Mexico (Cancun). Yellow onion with a much head (which is small) as any other Mexican brew I’ve had so far. A bit of sweetness to the aroma and something that is just shy of nasty (who knows what that was). The flavor was less nasty than I had braced myself for (or that I remembered from years ago…Perhaps this is “New Sol”). A bit sweet but not overly so like some of the other Vienna’s I tried. Just an ordinary Pale Lager with nothing much to say.
