Cornfield (4255), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Jun 13, 2007 Almost scary looking, a bright urine yellow body with skads of tiny bubbles rushing through a morass of ghost-like swirlies to bolster a fluffy white head that vanishes rapidly regardless. The aroma is creamed corn and white sugar. A bit of pale malt is added to the flavor, but not much. A slight touch of metallica lingers on the tongue. Marvelous.

Drnk_McDermott (1543), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA May 25, 2007 Half-liter bottle. Labeled as "Solodoff," but with original Cyrillic spelling on cap. Gas prices being what they are, it’s time to economize with cheap macros and foreign swill. This one’s a good start. Found at Sam’s Wines with a "NEW!" tag on the shelf. Pours a big white, but temporary head over a standrd pils color.Pretty heavy sugar smell, with undertones of light malt extract. A lot of husk-like floaties in the glass.Creamed corn and artifical sweetener taste. Headache-indicing fusels. Some basic northern hop bitterness clings to the teeth, while a curdled milk taste clings to the tongue. Not pleasant. JPDIPSO (4221), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Feb 20, 2006 Straw color with a taller, somewhat fizzy white head that diminishes rather quickly. Sweet grain and cooked corn smells are lifted into the sinus cavity. Some light fruit and mild glue scents as well. Light, carbonated water feel. LIght sweet floral hops are detected in the first sip. Some malt and mild alcohol come out in the mid to late gulp. This, like the Solodoff Classic, continues to get sweeter as one continues to partake. hemmer77 seems to hit it when he mentions cornmeal, a sweet cornbread concoction with some hints of honey. Simple insipid sweetness. heemer77 (3647), Savannah, Missouri, USA Jan 24, 2006 Another beer purchased in Madison. Medium yellow colored body with a white head. The carbonation is very active. The aroma has some hay and very light citrus character. It is hard to smell much of anything. The taste is a llittle metallic with some light notes of grainy cornmeal. This is ok for a light lager. HermanW (491), Coevorden, Netherlands Jul 30, 2004 A good russian beer in an absolutely strange 1 liter pet bottle. Good beer means tasty but it has a bad foam.
