Listed as "Sonoran" on my bottle. Looked like an amber. Was a little harsh in the finish. Hops were a little off.

Aroma is a nice blend of piney, citrusy hops and caramel malt. Red color, not much head. Flavor is similar to the aroma, pretty even balance, being neither sweet or bitter. Medium body. A good session ale and example of what an amber ale should be.

While I freely admit that this Ambers are one of my least favorite styles, this was a very nice example. Malty with a crisp finish, and like the Burning Bird, very fresh bread vibe thing.

Malty beer. Pours yellow orange in color. Smooth malt flavors. Little or no hop presence, at least I didn't notice it. It was a ok beer.

Pours yellow-orange with a lasting white head. Malty dried fruit aroma. Smooth malt flavor with carmel notes. No real hop presence. OK session beer, well made, with no defects.

Pours with a white two-fingered head, fades slowly and leaves a good lace. Light-medium carbonation and light bodied. Pale amber color, nearly clear. No nose, maybe because this was another one that was frozen solid. Brewer has this with "a distinct malty note", I know the malts are there but the hops dominate. Hoppy after taste.

Bottle: standard amber fare. Amber seems to be code for "tame beer" Sweet honey and caramel notes... drinkable. What you expect from an amber.
