I thought this beer was a bit too sweet for its own good, the warmth helped though as it became slightly nutty and had notes of caramel...interesting for an amber, but nothing about it really hooked me in.

Poured with a frothy tan head. Nose of caramel, earthy. Hops come on in the middle then finishes quick and dry. Thanks mom! (brought back from her vacation)

A nice amber ale. Medium red color. Very slight orange nose. Well balanced. Hops noticeable at first but smooths out in the aftertaste.

Imbibed in October 2002. A faint hoppy aroma. A clear light amber color with a nice lasting white head. Hoppy flavor with a malty aftertaste. Steady carbonation. Had a crisp dry finish. The hops and malt are fairly well balanced.

One of my favorite ambers. Nice amber color. Malty nose with a off-white head. Sweet caramel start with a nice hop profile to even out the sweetness. Clean finish.

A nice gift from a friend who just got back from AZ. Good amber color with a slight hoppy nose. I really liked the sweet malty flavor that hits you up front. Good clean finish that says I hope you enjoyed me.

Medium gold color, small head. Rich, smooth, sweet malts. Subtle hops. Mouthfeel is round and full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. Nice beer.

Fairly bitter for an amber. Tasted more like an English Pale Ale to me. It had good balance of hops to maltiness.
