Mar 6, 2008 Sampled at the Arizona Craft Brewers Guild 2008 Strong Beer Fest, on February 17, at the Mesa Amphitheatre. A hazy golden color with a small foamy white head. Aroma of grain and citrus. Pretty standard tasting American Wheat. Refreshing, but not spectacular.

Feb 25, 2008 pours a hazy yellow with brown/orange edges and a white ring for a head. faint aroma consists of light graininess, lemon and vanilla. the flavor is strange... pineapple, light wheat and grain all hidden under a huge dose of sour freshly squeezed lemon juice. ( i got a second sample to make sure that a lemon was not put in the glass. but, sure enough.) medium body but the sour lemon makes it seem like a thin mouth feel. it’s not terrible but it’s not good either. tastes like watery unsweetened lemonade...

does not count  Dec 14, 2006 The Hefe that I had must have been different from others. I very much so enjoyed this Hefe. It was full of flavor, had a wonderful palate and looked, smelled, and had a Hefe consistency. This is the best Hefe that I have had out of a microbrewery...took a bottle home with me.

Jan 5, 2006 On Tap at Brewery: This is actually quite a clean for a hefe; smooth and drinkable without alot of phenelics; light banana and lemon notes; a hefe I practically enjoyed.

Nov 24, 2003 Bottle: I just don't like heffe, I try but i don't like it. Poured like Dawn dish detergent. Aroma of Lemon, Bananna, and Pinapple. Tasted like Pinapple weird shit. Doesn't taste like beer. Then again i don't like Heffe.

Sep 9, 2003 Hazy golden color. Fruity hoppy aroma. Sweet, bountiful berry flavor. Not a true hefe. Hard to make what of this beer. Not terrible, just not one of their best.

Sep 2, 2003 This wheat beer is a gold color with a bit of chill haze to it (note I did not pour in the yeast at the bottom of the bottle). It pours with a thin white head that fades quickly. There is a slightly catty hoppy aroma. Smells grainy, and has an aroma that I usually associate with an American lager. Quite clean tasting overall, has a hint of fruity sweetness to it. Has a bit of hop bitterness at the end, and is well carbonated.

Apr 22, 2003 Very lemony, as if I was drinking a Saxer Lemon Lager by mistake. Thin and watery, too. I wonder if this has gone bad or it just is supposed to taste this bad? Thin and one-dimensionally sourish. TERRIBLE, and an inexcusible embarrassment to Sonora!
