| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 7, 2003 Medium gold color, slightly hazy. Large foamy head. Aroma is malty and a touch floral. A medium bodied weizen. Malts are mild and slightly sweet. Not very hoppy. Very smooth taste. Well balanced. That said it also doesn’t have much flavor. It also a little lemony tasting and funky. Not one of Sonoras better efforts. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is very slightly bitter. argo0 (6998), Washington DC, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Feb 24, 2003 (draft) Cloudy golden body, no head. Aroma is minimally clove, not much else. Taste is bland, hint of clove but otherwise almost invisible. Pretty disappointing. bbooth (115), Gilbert, Arizona, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jan 29, 2003 This beer seemed to be stripped of all flavor, they must have ran it through the Bud brewery. I was really disappointed, because I was at a restaurant with a pure Bud...Bud Light...Miller...beer list and the waitress said and this Sonora something....and without hesitation I said "That one please". I should have gone with Ice Tea. TheTsunami (162), Queen Creek, Arizona, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jan 25, 2003 A complete travesty. As the description says it is only a hefe technically. Completely clean. NO clove, bananna, or spice nose or flavors. Only discernible flavor was day old bubblegum. Sad in comparison to the rest of their good brews. lovibond (112), New York, USA

Nose is sweet malt with a hint of wheat, start cloyingly sweet with a decent bit of wheat and malt, top middling in feel. Finish is brisk in its carbonation and the hops slight but acceptable given the style, sweet and dry aftertaste, drinkable but not one of their better beers. maija (8), USA does not count | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Apr 28, 2002 Very drinkable, light wheat beer.
