Taste is bland, hint of clove but otherwise almost invisible. Pretty disappointing. beerguy101 (3940), Newark, California, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 7, 2003 Medium gold color, slightly hazy. Large foamy head. Aroma is malty and a touch floral. A medium bodied weizen. Malts are mild and slightly sweet. Not very hoppy. Very smooth taste. Well balanced. That said it also doesn’t have much flavor. It also a little lemony tasting and funky. Not one of Sonoras better efforts. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is very slightly bitter. austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA
| 0.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 1/20 | Apr 22, 2003 Very lemony, as if I was drinking a Saxer Lemon Lager by mistake. Thin and watery, too. I wonder if this has gone bad or it just is supposed to taste this bad? Thin and one-dimensionally sourish. TERRIBLE, and an inexcusible embarrassment to Sonora! Gusler (2655), Tucson, Arizona, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 25, 2002 Updated: Nov 27, 2003The beer pours a clear gold with a modest bright white head that is bubbly in texture and the lace a rather thin sheet. Nose is sweet malt with a hint of wheat, start cloyingly sweet with a decent bit of wheat and malt, top middling in feel. Finish is brisk in its carbonation and the hops slight but acceptable given the style, sweet and dry aftertaste, drinkable but not one of their better beers. FlacoAlto (2473), Tucson, Arizona, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 2, 2003 This wheat beer is a gold color with a bit of chill haze to it (note I did not pour in the yeast at the bottom of the bottle). It pours with a thin white head that fades quickly. There is a slightly catty hoppy aroma. Smells grainy, and has an aroma that I usually associate with an American lager. Quite clean tasting overall, has a hint of fruity sweetness to it. Has a bit of hop bitterness at the end, and is well carbonated. hellbilly (1532), scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Feb 25, 2008 pours a hazy yellow with brown/orange edges and a white ring for a head. faint aroma consists of light graininess, lemon and vanilla. the flavor is strange... pineapple, light wheat and grain all hidden under a huge dose of sour freshly squeezed lemon juice. ( i got a second sample to make sure that a lemon was not put in the glass. but, sure enough.) medium body but the sour lemon makes it seem like a thin mouth feel. it’s not terrible but it’s not good either. tastes like watery unsweetened lemonade... boto (1336), Granby, Connecticut, USA

A hazy golden color with a small foamy white head. Aroma of grain and citrus. Pretty standard tasting American Wheat. Refreshing, but not spectacular.
