(Thanks to SDbruboy for sending me this beauty as a bonus!) Pours a death black color with a thin, tan head that disappears rapidly. Nice, malty aroma coupled with what I believed to be cinnamon. Very bitter chocolate and roasted taste. A wee bit rough around the edges, but mucho tasty all the same.

Thick pour with a small dense tan head on a black body. Smells slightly sweet with a roasted background. Flavors of coffee, tobacco, and leather. Slight alcoholic aftertaste with a high bitterness.

Sweet chocolate malt and dry, espressoed coffee beans converge within the very fruity, black grapey esters…Aggressive acidic notes accompany the strong roasted malt bitterness to an unpleasant degree…This one’s as rough as the bulldog on its label…

Dark brown/black and thick pour. Very small tan head. Complex aroma of cherry, licorice, chocolate, and figs. A little roasted. It has a roasted/smoked sour cherry flavor with some cherry cough syrup sweetness. Maybe some tobacco also. Taste is a bit like the Bells Cherry Stout, but not quite as sour and a little sweeter. Syrupy mouthfeel. Overall, very nice and complex, but it is very heavy... a little too heavy.

OBF 2004. Pitch black. Very smoky nose of licorice, burnt malts, sweet oily and smoke, very nice aroma. Extremely thick, oily sweet plums, tobacco and sweet malts. Finish is full of burnt malts and sweet dark chocolate. Cloying, sticky and addictive.

Pours really black in color. Has an overwhelming flavor of roasted malts. It is very easy to drink for such a strong drink. Really good quality, great for $4.99 a 4 pack.

Small brown head on a black body, fair retention and spotty lacing. Chocolatey, fruity nose with some berry notes. Med/full body, creamy. A nice blend of roast, chocolate, black malt with a bit of vinous notes. Decent hop bite. Finish is medium dry.
