bhensonb (4182), Woodland, California, USA Feb 8, 2007 What swanmann said. Light aroma of hop; light gold color with a disappearing white head. Starts lightly fruity; floral notes ending with mild hop. V. nice. swanmann (304), Norman, Oklahoma, USA Nov 5, 2006 Lots of confusing information concerning Sonora and Sonoran Brewing, Papago and Brewers’ Den. This is actually at Brewer’s Den, which is Sonora (note the label), not Sonoran.
Draught out of a tasting shot was clear golden with a thin, quickly dissipating off-white head. Mild aroma of pears and grass. Flavor of lemons and hops; full-ish bodied. irishsnake (353), Oakland, California, USA Aug 21, 2006 beer decants a super fizzy, very hazy straw-tinted gold, with a massive white head that retains forever and leaves good lace. aroma shows lightly spiced hop notes, with some grassy/grainy notes mixed in. crisp flavor has a very nice graininess to it, a nice dry snap, and a lightly hoppy finish. drinkability suffers from excessive carbonation - that big carbonic acid bite in the finish really stings. ontario102 (794), Boise, Idaho, USA Jan 5, 2006 On tap at brewery: Slightly spicy noble hop front end; round palate and not much character. Terminus (1955), Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA Jun 21, 2005 bottle-from what flacoalto told me, this bottle could be over a year old. I was kind of hesitant to even try it, but i did and i must say, i was suprised how well this beer turned out. pours a light orange hue with a small fizzy white head with some good retention. citric aroma mostly, kinda banana in a sense-maybe from the german yeast used? became estery as the bottle got old? maybe so. flavors are malty and some good bitters from light spicy hops. not really a true kolsh again, but still not bad. body is light medium with some roughness around the edges. not bad if you ask me, especially considering the age of this bottle. Bockyhorsey (2487), Mesa, Arizona, USA Dec 27, 2004 The aroma stood out for me in this one. I seem to like the beer more when you can smell the malty hops just after the pour. Gold body and thin head stayed on the top of beer till the end. Decent beer would probly have another. PullMeABeer (203), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Sep 24, 2004 Bottle. Pours light golden, with a small bubbly head that quickly diminished. Sweet fruity aroma, with a kick of alcohol. Flavor is crisp and clean, starts with a sweet pale malts, and ends with a light fruity lemon hop bight/tinge. Body was light. "It’s very refreshing." turbo (1254), Arizona, USA Aug 25, 2004 bottle poured a nice golen color with a thin head.
