The beer as it sets in the class a limpid gold, the head is generous and bright white, creamy in texture with a thick cover of lace upon the glass. Nose is sweet malt, lime like in its crispness, fresh and inviting this nose, start is sweet, malt profile perfect and the top light to medium on the feel. Finish is modestly acidic, the hops personable in their spiciness, very dry and a fine drinking beer.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 24, 2004 Golden light color. Nose is a pleasant fruity almost banana aroma. Crisp and refreshing but not "Kolsh" enough. Dry and crisp, just lacking in character. Good effort. PullMeABeer (203), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 24, 2004 Bottle. Pours light golden, with a small bubbly head that quickly diminished. Sweet fruity aroma, with a kick of alcohol. Flavor is crisp and clean, starts with a sweet pale malts, and ends with a light fruity lemon hop bight/tinge. Body was light. "It’s very refreshing." swanmann (310), Norman, Oklahoma, USA

Draught out of a tasting shot was clear golden with a thin, quickly dissipating off-white head. Mild aroma of pears and grass. Flavor of lemons and hops; full-ish bodied. Terminus (1955), Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 21, 2005 bottle-from what flacoalto told me, this bottle could be over a year old. I was kind of hesitant to even try it, but i did and i must say, i was suprised how well this beer turned out. pours a light orange hue with a small fizzy white head with some good retention. citric aroma mostly, kinda banana in a sense-maybe from the german yeast used? became estery as the bottle got old? maybe so. flavors are malty and some good bitters from light spicy hops. not really a true kolsh again, but still not bad. body is light medium with some roughness around the edges. not bad if you ask me, especially considering the age of this bottle.
