Commercial Description:
Our IPA has lots of malt and hop character. This style originated during Queen Victoria’s reign as a strong, flavorful ale, which was able to survive the ocean voyage from England to India during the British occupation.

22oz bottle acquired in trade with FlacoAlto (thanks!). Poured a medium and clear orange color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of citrus, floral green hoppiness, earthy, and spicy. Tastes of citrus, toasted malts, and earthy. Thinnre body. Definitely an Englist style IPA vs. a Hop Bomb.

Bottle courtesy of rustychiles. Pours copper with a rocky white head. Smells of hay, wildflowers, some dough, perfume. Tastes resiny with a doughy hint and a nice caramelly backbone. Very good!

Sampled from 22-oz bomber and shared by tytoanderso. Pours a semi-clear copper amber brew with an average off-white head that slowly dissipates to a white ring. Aroma of pine and citrus zest hops, some light caramel and golden grain malts, and a touch of white pepper. Taste is medium bodied, typical IPA bitterness, some some biscuit malt, grapefruit, citrus zest and a hint of dry pine. Finish is semi-sweet with a grapefruit and malt aftertaste. A solid IPA with a shorter bitter finish compared to some other IPAs.

Bomber. Poured hazy medium orange with almost no head sticking around. The aroma picked up orange, pineapple, and lesser caramel sweetness with floral and black peppery accents.. balance was well done, with more intriguing black pepper on the back. The flavor found pineapple meat and caramel at the core with lots of bright citrus bitterness and peppery notes on the edges.. a bit sour and metallic at times with fruity character.. finished tart, tacky, and bitter with more citrus and a little brown sugar. Medium-bodied with low-ish carbonation on the palate.. the sourness really took over as it warmed up, and didn’t work so well.

This is a good IPA. Copper color. Short, white head. Bitter hop aroma with lots of citrus, and some pine. Mild hop bite, much less than I expected from the big aroma, but still good flavor.
