yespr (7779), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jun 8, 2008 33 cL bottle. Pours cloudy and amber with a fully diminished off white head. Mild spiced and vague breadish aroma. Flavour is slight oldish mix of caramel and fruity notes with a vague spice note. Slowly building bitterness in the finish. OleR (1375), Oslo, Norway May 14, 2008 Bottle bb nov 05. Crystal clear copper brown. Low near-white head. Quite aromatic for a lager; a pleasant smell of toffee and buttery malts. Rounded sweet malt flavor. Very mildly hopped. Clean mouthfeel. Light-bodied. This beer has developed very nicely, considering the low strenght and the fact that bb-date was two and half years ago. (thanks to yngwie/Beer 2000) gunnfryd (2834), Kristiansand, Norway Mar 18, 2008 Bottle. Red brown colour with an off-white head. Aroma is caramel, malt. Flavour is caramel, malt, hint of oxidition. I have tasted this one earlier and then i think the beer was thiner in the body. Beer2000 (1312), Kristiansand, Norway Feb 28, 2008 330 ml bottle. Beautiful reddish brown body with a medium beige head. Aroma is caramel and malt. Flavor is slightly roasted caramel malt and not so much more. But very smooth and harmonic. Shared this with Yngwie and Gunnfryd as a past before date experience. Used to have a few of this every Christmas, but it was actually higher rated as a more matured and slightly oxidized version.
