esjaygee (808), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA Sep 20, 2008 On Tap at the Great Lakes Brewfest. Amber with a thin white quickly dissipating head. Aroma of "forest" – pine, resin, tree sap, caramel and citrus. Taste of pine, citrus, light grapefruit and some caramel to help balance it out. Pretty decent beer, probably my favorite so far from the brewery. Skyview (2901), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Sep 9, 2007 On draught at the brewpub in Ashland, Wisconsin. Pours a clear godlen coppery amber brew with a white head that quickly dissolves to a ring with good lacing. Aroma of sweet grapefruit, some caramel malt and more citrus zest. Taste is lightly carbonated, medium bodied with a sweet grapefruit and pine flavor. Very much like the Muskie Capital regular Pale Ale version except the water is slightly harder. Finish has a sweet grapefruit bitter aftertaste, almost an IPA catagory brew.
