12oz bottle. Poured a deeper orangish color with a larger sized bubbly off white head. Aromas of honey, lighter spices, and grassy. Tastes of honey, apples, and some caramel. Fizzy body.

Pours a cloudy golden-orange colour with a ridiculously large sticky white head. Aromas are of soft green apple, and pears. touch of honey flavor, but mostly apple. not bad!

12 oz bottle. Poured a clear dark orange color. Head was thick and off white with good retention and lacing. Aroma was of apple, subdued malty caramel, and grassy hops. Slightly sweet and very effervescent with carbonation on the higher end of the spectrum. Tasted mostly of apple and grassy hops with a malty cereal grain accent. The apple flavor lingered after the finish. Not awful, but not really my bag.

12oz bottle, no date. Cloudy brownish orange with a one finger off-white head, good retention. Aroma of honey and sweet malts up front, faint apple flesh at best. Flavor has the same honey and sweet malts, but some apple juice takes the place of the flesh. Mild earthy bitterness in the finish. Moderate carbonation with a light to medium body. Meh, average.

Sampled on draught at the brewpub in Ashland, Wisconsin. Pours a hazy pale yellowish amber brew with a fast dissolving white head that leaves behind a fine film and white ring. Very little lacing at best. Aroma of sweet apple bread, some flowery hops with a touch of honey, caramel and light alcohol. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonation with an excellent balance of bread-like malt and sweet tangy apples. Finish is slightly tart at first and then a sweet apple aftertaste with no spice except just sweet flavor. This year’s batch was terrific compared to previous years. No wonder this beer in bottles sold out so quickly.

ABR 2006.Not much to this beer. Cloudy yellow. Light apple aroma and a flavor that has some light apple and a little sugar.

Bottle. Clear, sparkly golden pour with a substantial, rocky white head. Lots of carbonation and some teardrop lacing followed it down. Aroma was of honey and stale grassy hoppage. Very carbonated. Flavors of honey and caramel malts.. with apple cider and tart wheat at the finish. I think the cider-ness is a by-product of age rather than brewer’s intentions. I can’t say that I really found anything enjoyable in this brew.
