Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing light tan head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of matl and spices, leading to a dry spicy finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of Skyview. Pours a very cloudy golden with chunks of floaties and a tall and lively off-white head that leaves some lacing. Sweetish apple aroma. Medium body with lightly sweet apple notes and a dry and lightly bitter finish. Very heavy carbonation. But quite fresh really. 180808

Pours a clear copper bronze with a thick, thinly-lacing off-white head. Dry pale malty and corny aroma has a hint of sweet candy apples. Starts semi-sweet and overcarbonated with some mild fruit toward a semi-tart bubbly finish. Once the carbonation dies down, this smooths out some. An ok fruit beer, but could use a touch more fruit and balance. Thanks to JPDIPSO for the bottle.

Hazy dark golden liquid. Diminished, somewhat fizzy, cream colored head. Pale and lightly toasted malt aromas along with some light applesauce, and wild honey aromas. Mild apple start, and actually middle, and finish. Fairly sweet throughout but not overly. I catch a touch of malt here and there but more so in the linger. Caramel apples seem to come to mind.

Sampled on draught at the brewpub in Ashland, Wisconsin. Pours a hazy pale yellowish amber brew with a fast dissolving white head that leaves behind a fine film and white ring. Very little lacing at best. Aroma of sweet apple bread, some flowery hops with a touch of honey, caramel and light alcohol. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonation with an excellent balance of bread-like malt and sweet tangy apples. Finish is slightly tart at first and then a sweet apple aftertaste with no spice except just sweet flavor. This year’s batch was terrific compared to previous years. No wonder this beer in bottles sold out so quickly.

Bottle. Clear, sparkly golden pour with a substantial, rocky white head. Lots of carbonation and some teardrop lacing followed it down. Aroma was of honey and stale grassy hoppage. Very carbonated. Flavors of honey and caramel malts.. with apple cider and tart wheat at the finish. I think the cider-ness is a by-product of age rather than brewer’s intentions. I can’t say that I really found anything enjoyable in this brew.
