Strong on the mint, reminded me of those little mint chocolate candies. Maybe a bit to much mint and not enough coffee for me. I did like this, just wouldnt be able to do more then a pint because of the mint. Freshens your breath though! CaptainCougar (5544), Rockville, Maryland, USA

Very interesting and complex mint chocolate chip ice cream aroma with some toasted caramel notes. Body starts with a sweet, semi-viscous sugary vanilla and mint flavor with lots of milk chocolate complexity and smooth semi-sweet finish. Very unique. holdenn (1454), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Very interesting idea here. I’ve never had mint as a flavor in the brew, but the concept seems to work. It’s like they dropped an altoids into the beer. I can see how some may consider this a love it or hate it type of beer. Refreshing to say the least, and one I’d drink again. joebrew (608), Farewell Minny; Hello Puyallup, Washington, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Oct 8, 2007 Draft ABR 07. One of the biggest highlights of the festival, nicely done badger. It was like a nicely done bourbon stout, with a Andes mint dropped in it. Enough said! The chocolate mint and vanilla worked superb together. BDR (2170), Roseville, Minnesota, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Oct 5, 2007 Sampled at ABR07. I have to say, these guys ruined my day. All the rare, one-off beers and I have the best one within 20 minutes of walking in. This thinkg was delicious. Superbly well done coffee flavor that doesn’t bite the stomach. Intense mint Aroma and flavor with a bit of chocolate hanging around. Thick body. Mint flavor lingered quite a while. hellomynameis (794), Mayer, Minnesota, USA

Very chocolatey flavour with the tiniest hint of bourbon flavour. Lots and lots of mint in the aftertase. it was pretty good, and it all worked well together but it’s just not my thing and I didn’t much enjoy it. Skyview (4111), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 1, 2007 Oh wow! Sampled on draught at the ABR ’07 in Minneapolis, MN. Pours an opaque dark brown brew with a thick light tan head that has good retention and lacing. Aroma of a chocolate mint wafer with a touch of bourbon and coconuts. Taste is full bodied, very light carbonation with a more coffee mint flavor with some bourbon character. Finish is smooth, creamy, with a nice coffee and mint aftertaste. Remind me to order my yearly supply of those Girl Scout chocolate mint cookies. This brew was a wonderful experience.
