I was honestly expecting suck, but it didn’t. Very light yellow, little head. Nose is indeed quite herbal. Flavor is, not surprisingly, herbal and creamy, bur doesn’t overdo things. Decent.

Very lightly spiced. A medium body, with some bitter hops. Yellow. The only spice I could pick up was pepper. These guys do some interesting beers, and brought none of them to the ’05 ABR.

Bottle. Ginger ale-like aroma with a lemony, strawberry bent. Looks like ginger ale, too. Thin, zippy ginger ale flavor with lime rind bitterness. Very refreshing. I happen to be pretty thirsty right now so I know that’s affecting my rating, but I’ll look at it as if I got lucky in picking out a beer to rate tonight.

Slightly hazy gold colored body. The aroma is perfume and apples. The herbal content is there, but I am having trouble placing what exactly which herbs. The taste is funky cheese with some maple. The taste also has some weird citrus character. Rosemary is the only herb I can pick out. Certainly a unique experience. The body is a little thin. I don’t think that anyone would want very many of these.

Gitchee Gumee Brewfest 2005. The aroma made me think of being in a spice store with all the various blend of musky spices, but it was all downhill from there. The color was light golden and boring. The flavor tasted like bandaids (this a flavor described in wine tasting as something that happens to a bad bottle) and medicine, which was obviously unpleasent. No depth and a VERY watery finish.

Pours like murky white grape juice. Aroma of bananas, black pepper and sweet flowers. Flavor reminds me of a spicy american wheat. Somewhat thin and malty. Sweet finish. I really dont know what to think of this stuff, its just "there".

Cloudy, even murky appearance, dull yellow hue, very nice cap of milky white foam. Unusual aroma, very odd mixture of yeast, cream, and citrus scents, quite a funky affair, not sure how to place this queer duck, ...lemon cream pie, that’s pretty close... How’s it taste, though? Very light on the tongue, fairly smooth, minor hop play, with citrus and cream still at large in the flavor. The "herbal" part of the name I’m trying to figure out... Thin body, short finish, but it goes down with ease...I can pass a few of these past the lips, but after a while it would get annoying, I think.

Orange/Apricot Coloring With White Ring. Aroma and Taste are Very Herbal and Flowery... I wish I Could Pick Apart the Different Individual Herbs...Definitly Would Like to Have More of This on Hand. One of the Few Herbal Ales that Seems to Really Balance Out Well.. Highly Enjoyable. (if you like that sort of thing)
