Malty flavor with hints of cocoa. Smooth brew, with hints of honey and a gentle sweetness. Too carbonated. Heather, slightly sweet aroma. Very thin finish, too watery. Drinkable, but not great. notalush (2668), Denver, Colorado, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Apr 30, 2005 Effervescent tower of slightly hazy golden delight, topped with a nice think clean white head, that seems to be holding on. Bland yeast aroma. Fruity at first, yet possibly light struck. Flavors are simple. Sweet, with light honey, a dose of hops and some yeast to finish off. A little puckery on the back end. A little too tart for a smooth finish. I have to admit that this beer would be very nice on a hot summer day, and that it’s pretty good for the style. 5000 (2409), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 24, 2005 Bottle: Pale yellow, almost white, sudsy white head, very large, decent retention, copious carbonation, sticky lacing.   Nearly wit-bier like.   Sweet grassy nose, slight citrus hint.   Zesty mouthfeel, minor tang, subtle malts, grassy.   Much fuller than your average pilsener.   Slight straw like bitterness on the finish.   Different, but still tasty.   Thanks Matt D!

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 17, 2005 12 oz bottle. Hazy light amber-gold with a small lasting snowy cap...fresh, sparkling lemony-grassy nose, very clean...light honey sweetness dominates the front, bitter grasses take over late, something of a 7UP quality, nice body with a juicier finish than usual, fairly high carbonation. This bottle was at least 3 months old and was still quite good; I expect it would be top-notch when absolutely fresh. Terminus (1955), Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA

Sweet, lemon, honey, grassy aroma-nice! flavors are crisp, sweet, grassy and good pils malt backbone. Full flavors and a good body for this style. I would drink alot of this if i lived in this area. Solid offering from a small northern WI brewery! BBB63 (4232), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 12, 2004 Bottle: Hazy golden hue with a small but lasting frothy head and good lace. The aroma has notes of honey nut cereal, aromatic and slightly piney hops, buttered wheat toast, and a twangy orange zest. The taste is shockingly tart and acidic, the honey is buried beneath the hops and twangy yeast. Fruity a bit with a dry and snappy finish. The feel is lively and metallic. This brew is hardly sweey at all, in fact I was disappointed by the lack of honey in the flavor. Still quite quaffable and a brew your non-geek freinds may like. heemer77 (4304), Savannah, Missouri, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 8, 2004 The color is a light gold with cloudiness. It looks like a hefe. Slightly sour aroma with a note of wheat and some bread. The taste is full bodied. It is wheat bread with notes of some kind of orange hard candy. I am having trouble picking out the honey notes. It is a little sweet, though. It has a dry finish like a cider.
