Commercial Description:
This golden beer is refreshing, boldly crisp, full bodied, yet not overwhelmingly bitter. Locally harvested honey adds that delicate touch of sweetness that balances very nicely with newly developed aroma hops. This product is fermented with a classic Pilsner style yeast and allowed to lager several weeks before it is packaged.

Light gold color with a mild hop presence. Very nice honey addition that is quite well done. It actually tastes like honey, not just artifical sweetener.

Light Gold Coloring. Small Head. Pilsner Taste With Honey Overcoating. Honey Smooths it Out and Makes for a Tasty Pilsner!

12 oz bottle: pale yellow with a slight hazy and thin off-white head. Fresh, honey-suckle aroma with fresh hops…sticky, sweet palate, but enough dry malt balance to offer a pretty tasty brew, not bad…

Slightly hazy golden color, crackly white head. The aroma has sweet pale malt, clover, honey, and a twinge of hop bite. Unoffensive pale malt taste with leafy hops and that same clover honey flavor. Refreshing when served cold.

bottle. pours a light gold with a thick white head, strong honey(i’d hope so) aroma. sweet hoppy taste. flat acidic finish that leaves a bitter taste on the tongue. one of the better pils i’ve had. and the cubs have been scoring since i opened the bottle, so it’s got that going for it too.

Beautiful clear gold body with a fizzy white head. Light aroma... sweet orange, honey. Has a light sweet flavor also, that is really good. Kind of a peppery sweet orange. Slightly sour in the finish. Overall, pretty good.

Consumed at Wisconsin Rapids Lions Club Fall Brew Review. Smells half like an ash tray, chalky, with some honey. No real visible carbonation, dark gold. Tall white head. A little bit of honey evident but not as much as would be expected for a honey pils. A little bit of hop bitterness but with some amateurish notes.

Actually a pretty decent brew, especially if you are buying beer for non-"real beer" lovers. It's a bit sweet but hides any of the gritty or grainy tastes normally associated with small brewpub beginner lagers. Balance is decent and the honey seems to smooth it all out. Don't let it get warm, because it gets thick and syrupy quite quickly. Chug one at your next Bar-B-Que and pass the rest to your Miller/Bud/Coors buddies!
