On tap at Wilmarths Deepwater Grille. Not so pale. A heavily carbonated body with minimal head and a faint hop nose. Body has a citrus hop character.

Third stop during May ’07 brewpub tour, brought us to the South Shore Brewery in Ashland, WI. Pours a slight hazy orange/yellow brew with a light off-white head that dissolves quickly. Fair/sparce lacing. Aroma is citrus peel, grapefruit, more pine hops, and a hint of sour orange. Taste is lightly carbonated, a little acidic with plenty of piney hops in this medium bodied pale ale. Finish is a little dry with more pine aftertaste.

Pours translucent light brown with light off-white head. Aroma of citrus, cascade hops and a touch of rind zest. Flavor is mild with a lighter body.

Pours a yellow fringed orange clear, with an obvious opalescent hazy sheen. Topped with a sticky white lacing. Extremely distant Cascade aroma of orange rind. Flavor is a stronger, yet reserved sticky Cascade, very sweet and loaded with tangerines and grapefruit. Yet, fairly one-dimensional. Light on the grass or resin. Drinkable, yet watery. A little weak and thin bodied.
