Commercial Description:
This medium-bodied British-style ale is known for its chestnut hue. Dark crystal malt from England and Willamette hops round out this remarkable brew.

Chestnut brown with some reddish hues. Head is a little fizzly and lacking, and there’s absolutely no stick going on. Pleasant nut, chocolate, and a bit of smokiness along with some warm malts in the aroma. Light, spent coffee flavours. Softer, roasted malts. Almond-like nuttiness. A little flat, and lacking the creaminess to make up for that. Kinda disappointing in that regard. Light and easy to swig, but I found it to be a little bit one-dimensional.

Draft at the brewery. Dark reddish brown color with a rich one finger head. Very weak aroma had hints of nuttiness and slightly roasted malt. Taste starts off of roasted grain and nuts and evolves into a caramel sweetness. Low hop bitterness at the end. Medium-low body.
